With reference to my posts in "My first pair (I hope)" topic, this morning I woke up and see more than 50 eggs on the breeding cone. I was very exciting to see their third attempt. Then I rush to make a cage to protect the eggs from their parent, 'coz last two time were ended up all eatten.

Believe it or not, I've been away from the tank for no more than 10 mins but when i'm back 80% of the eggs were eaten by the male already... now few eggs are survived but seems like the male don't know how to fertilize it since he shows no other interest rather...

That's a nice pair......I envy you.

May I ask you guys something?? I've kept discus for more than one year now, and seems to have a couple of pair in the community tank.  From my exp, they have laid eggs 2 times already, but it ended up with all eggs eaten. I've noticed onething that, my pair will start to lay some egg when I didn't do the WC for more than 4 days (Normally I'll do the WC three times a week). Is it the only way to let em lay egg, by ignore a regular WC? and if it so, how could I maintain the water quality to be at least to prevent...

Hello Everybody,
Lots of updates, I don't know where to begin. I firstly must apologize for not posting more often. Keong has had headaches due to his sinus acting up, and his his grandmother recently passed away. Opinions from different doctors contradict and he's not been himself as one is recommending he go under the knife. 


So for the past month he's been taking it easy and been playing with my Guinea pigs Mou Mou and friends. He doesn't understand why I keep the fellas because they stink, are cowardly and likes to follow like little...
